Matthew Matt James born in North Carolina 5 December 1991. He is a mixed-race child of Manny James and Patty James. His mother is caucasian and his father Nigerian. His father is Nigerian and his mother is caucasian american. He was a graduate of Sanderson High School in 2010 and then attended Wake Forest University, where the Bachelor's Degree was awarded to him in Economics in 2015. James became famous when he filmed his debut on the reality star during The Bachelorette. In 2020, he was chosen to be the next bachelor for The Bachelor's season 25, becoming The first African American male lead which will premiere in 2021. James' fit was perfect for the role as He is attractive, well-rounded, tall personality. Rachael Krkconnell was picked as his partner for the season. James was paired with dancer Arnold who was popular in the era of his participation in the season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold finished 12th on the show.
